In collaboration with a collective of writers, directors, and actors, Talya Dayan conceived and produced If Walls Could Talk — an immersive theatrical experience that transformed a mid-century house in North Williamsburg into a living archive of human secrets. Blending theatre, film, and installation art, the project reimagined storytelling through space, guiding audiences through rooms that seemed to remember everything.

Through a series of intimate encounters, If Walls Could Talk revealed fragments of lives once lived within the house — each scene inspired by real, anonymous confessions collected from the public beforehand.
These secrets, gathered from people who chose to share their truths in confidence, became the emotional foundation for the narrative. Under Dayan’s creative direction, the project expanded beyond performance into a sensory exploration of vulnerability and human connection. A dedicated visual art space displayed selected confessions as part of the installation — transforming private emotions into collective reflection.
The result was a meditation on memory, voyeurism, and shared storytelling, testifying to Dayan’s ability to translate conceptual ideas into deeply human, multisensory experiences.
